David MacMahon serves as Chief Engineer for the Breakthrough Listen Initiative, designing, deploying and supervising its global network of astronomical instrumentation David oversees the hardware and computer technology that allow us to process data from some of the most advanced telescopes in the world. This includes high speed digitizers, ethernet networks, GPU compute systems, and field-programmable gate array (FPGA) analytic systems. These computers and networks also support SERENDIP and SETI@home.
