Danny Price

Research Fellow

Danny Price is a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), in Perth, Australia, jointly affiliated with the Berkeley SETI Research Center. Danny serves as Australian Project Scientist for the Breakthrough Listen (BL) Initiative, and contributes to instrumentation and data analysis efforts with other BL facilities. Danny received his PhD in astrophysics from the University of Oxford in 2013, after which he moved to Harvard to work on digital signal processing (DSP) for a 21-cm cosmology experiment called LEDA. Danny joined the BSRC team in 2016, and has been based in Australia since 2018. He is currently focusing on real-time data processing applied to SETI and low-frequency radio astronomy.
